The Early Payout Calculator is an advanced calculator that will calculate how to lock in profit when a bookmaker offers an early payout that has been triggered.
This guide will help you understand what each part of the calculator does and the different lock-in options you have once the early payout has been triggered.
SIMPLE MODE
When in simple mode the calculator will give you directions of how to lock in the profit equally between your selection winning or failing to win or it will give you the results for the early payout when it has not been triggered.
When operating in Simple Mode your calculator should look like this;
You will notice that it is two calculators next to each other, the first is the Pre-Event calculator which is just the standard backing and laying calculator.

You would populate this the same way you would when using the standard calculator, as displayed above. You will then be prompted in the results section of what to back and lay, like so;
Once your back and lay bets have been submitted you will then need to move on to the two switches in the results section.

Above is the default settings, the first switch will be set to No and the second switch will be set to Yes. You can change these to the appropriate outcome of the event and whether you decide to lock in or not.
So if the early payout has been triggered and you receive your early payout then you can now switch the first one to Yes.
The second switch, if you are wanting to lock in, should be left as Yes. By locking in whilst in simple mode you will be taking a 100% lock-in (cashing out your lay bet fully). If you do not want to lock in then simply change the second switch to No and the results at the bottom will reflect this with your overall outcomes.
If you do wish to lock in your early payout profit and cash out your lay bet then you will need to move on to the second part of the calculator, the Cash Out Calculator.
This part is quite simple as all you need to enter is the current back odds with your exchange for your selection to win. So you're re-backing your selection to cancel out your lay bet.
Your calculator should now look a little like this;
Below the switches, you will instructions on what to do to cash out your lay bet and lock in your profit.
The final two sentences will break down and explain where your profit is coming from depending on the final outcome of the event.
In this example, there was £15.57 profit made.
ADVANCED MODE
When in advanced mode the calculator will do the same thing as in Simple Mode but it will offer two extra choices to manually adjust your preferred outcomes.
These are two very simple sliders that can be found directly below the two calculator input sections and they will look like this;
The first one, on the left, is an Override Lay Stake slider. This will basically allow you to change the lay stake to what you like, so you can opt to underlay or overlay your lay bet if you wish. This will of course affect the overall outcome of your profit/loss.
The second one, on the right, is an Early Pay Out Lock-in slider. This basically allows skewing your profit from cashing out your lay bet and locking in the early payout. This is set to a default of 50% but you can go as low as 0% or higher than 100% if you wish. The lower this figure the more profit you will make if your selection fails to win. The higher the figure the more profit you will make if your selections go on to win. It is up to you to decide on your own personal preference if you are to use this method.
The results at the bottom will update accordingly to what you have entered in these two sliders.
In the image below I have decided to underlay my selection to £200 and lock in only 50% of the early payout profit. Which will give me a greater profit if my selection fails to win but reduces my initial profit locked in.
