To make Matched Betting that little bit easier and quicker Outplayed have introduced a new Custom Filters Feature within the Oddsmatcher, Each Way catcher and Dutching tools
This feature allows members to add customisable filters to their searches so they can quickly find matches for their favourite and regular matched betting activities.
Dropdown
When a user logs in, a new drop down list will be displayed with the ‘Apply’ and ‘X’ buttons next to the drop down:
Select Filter: This shows a list of all the saved filters for the user.
Apply: When clicked, will make the selected filter active.
X: Selecting the red X will completely delete the currently selected filter. This is not reversible so only do this if you wish to completely erase a customised filter.
Creating A Filter
When you click on ‘Filters’, the existing Filter screen will now have 2 additional buttons, ‘Save’ and ‘Save As’:
Save
If a user has no previous filters saved, upon clicking on ‘Save’ a message box (see above image) will be displayed prompting the user to add a name for the filter they have just selected. (Selected means the user has made changes to the default filter i.e. choosing specific sports/bookies/exchanges/odds etc that they are interested in).
Note: A max of 50 characters is allowed for the filter name and a maximum of 5 filters per user can be created.
Save As
This essentially means that a new filter will be created every time. So when a user hits this button, the same message box as above will be displayed.
Activating The Filter
Upon entering the filter name and clicking on save, providing all the validations are met, the filter is then saved. It will automatically appear in the ‘Select Filter’ drop down list.
To activate the custom filter, select the desired filter from the drop down and hit apply. This will then update the search results accordingly.
Updating The Filter
In order to update a filter a user must have the filter selected and applied in order to update. Once the filter is active then click on ‘Filters’, modify the filters as required, and then hit ‘Save’. This will automatically override the previous filter with the new filter. This should automatically update the search results for you, but if not, then just hit refresh or apply and the results will then update.
