There are two main bet types to choose from in the Matched Betting calculator. These are Normal and Free Bet (SNR).
Bet Type - Normal
When we are placing a qualifying bet in order to unlock a free bet, we use 'Normal' as the 'Bet Type'. When using 'Normal' we are using our own cash.

Setting the 'Bet Type' to 'Normal' will calculate your required lay stake to lock in as little loss as possible using the specified back and lay odds.
Bet Type - Free Bet (SNR)
When we are placing a free bet, we use 'Free Bet (SNR)' as the 'Bet Type'.
SNR stands for 'Stake Not Returned'. It means the free bet stake is not included with the winnings.

Setting the 'Bet Type' to 'Free Bet (SNR)' will calculate your required lay stake to lock in as much profit as possible using the specified back and lay odds.
